	Art Studios benefit from a cooling easterly breeze. The gardens offer a delightful mixture of hibiscus and bougainvillaea flowers together with banana, paw-paw and breadfruit plants. Discovery Bay has beautiful sand and is lined with palm trees. There is a large area safe swimming area marked off by buoys together with a floating platform, popular with divers & sunbathers. Eat or Drink in Discovery Bay hotel right next door to the apartments, or in Cocomos which is a very popular beach restaurant 4 minutes walk along the sand. There is a good swimming pool with sun deck and bar called Baku 3 minutes further on. There is also a nearby beach bar with satellite TV for sports fans. Dozens more eating places nearby – email us for a factsheet on Eating and Drinking. Holetown which is five minutes walk away is the place where the first English settlers arrived. It has a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques. There is also a modern shopping mall with an excellent supermarket. Bridgetown is 15-20 minutes away to the South by bus or car. Friendly Staff - Audrey the housekeeper and Harry the gardener/maintenance man will ensure you are well looked after. They will be on hand throughout your stay to ensure things run smoothly and answer your questions. Airport Pick Up - We can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport by either Harry or a local taxi firm.
